After visiting the area for the first time 10 years ago, Dean and Trudy Meyers fell in love with the Wallowa Mountains and were resolved to the fact that they wanted to return to the area at some point--for good.
After their three children were all grown and their life's work were coming to a close, they made their way back to the valley and built a dream log cabin and guest house--including a barn for Trudy's passion - horses. Once they completed the final touches and the log home was finished, Trudy decided to turn the guest house into a place where visitors can experience what she and Dean fell in love with years ago.
